Kamloops - CWI was contracted to provide wireless network bridges to link their newly located offices in Kamloops and Surrey. The Kamloops link was accomplished by using a mountain relay point to connect two offices that had no clear line of sigh and a very crowded ISM radio band. The link has proved to be 100% reliable through winter ice storms and severe summer thunderstorms that destroyed wireless systems in two adjacent buildings.

In Surrey, an expansion move of one block to a new building was being hampered by the cost of running a fiber-optic cable through a maze of underground parking lots to maintain their 100 Mbps network. CWI installed a 155 Mbps OC-3 Laser System to bridge the gap at a savings of close to $500K over a three-year period. This was the first successful installation of such a high speed Laser system for the Government of British Columbia.
